Acadia NYC caught my attention because it does not feel like the typical Midtown restaurant. During my visit, I found a space that balances an upscale setting with the kind of lively energy that makes you want to stay a little longer.

Located at 101 West 57th Street at the corner of 57th Street and Sixth Avenue, Acadia is surrounded by some of Manhattan’s biggest attractions. Central Park, Columbus Circle, and Radio City Music Hall are all close by, which makes the restaurant an easy stop before a show, after sightseeing, or during a busy day in Midtown.

Why Acadia NYC Is Worth Visiting

What stood out to me most during my visit was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a polished, modern look, but it never felt stiff or overly formal. Warm wood, soft lighting, greenery, and an open dining layout give the room a comfortable energy that works for both daytime meals and dinner.

Acadia’s food is inspired by the Levant and the wider Mediterranean region, with Executive Chef Partner Ari Bokovza drawing on flavors that stretch from Southern Italy to Northern Africa. That mix gives the menu a broad Mediterranean identity rather than locking it into one narrow tradition.

If you enjoy discovering restaurants around Manhattan, you can also explore more EnFlive Food & Dining guides.

The Atmosphere: Upscale Without Feeling Stiff

I took several photos inside Acadia because the space has a lot of details worth noticing. The wood ceiling, hanging globe lights, greenery, long bar, and large windows give the restaurant a warm and energetic character.

It is the kind of room that can change depending on the time of day. During lunch, it works naturally for business meetings, while later in the day the bar and dining room feel better suited to cocktails, dinner, and catching up with friends.

A Menu Built Around Mediterranean and Levantine Flavors

Acadia’s menu is broad enough to make a return visit worthwhile. The restaurant serves housemade mezze, warm flatbreads, fresh pasta, seafood, meat dishes, salads, desserts, and creative cocktails.

One of the most talked-about experiences is the tableside hummus, served with warm flatbread. Other menu highlights include grilled branzino, marinated black cod, dry-aged beef kofta, crispy roasted lamb, and a selection of pastas and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

For dessert, options such as Silan and Malabi Panna Cotta give the meal a distinctly Middle Eastern finish, while the bar menu includes creative drinks such as a Levantine-inspired Espresso Martini.

Acadia NYC for Lunch, Dinner, and Weekend Brunch

One thing I liked about Acadia is how easily it fits different plans. You can come in for breakfast or lunch, meet someone for happy hour, or make an evening of it with dinner and cocktails.

The restaurant also offers weekend brunch, making it a useful option when you are exploring Midtown on Saturday or Sunday. If you are planning a pre-theater meal or meeting friends near Central Park, the location makes the timing especially convenient.

Location & How to Get to Acadia NYC

Acadia NYC is located at 101 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019, at the corner of West 57th Street and Sixth Avenue. The entrance is easy to spot from the busy Midtown sidewalk.

By Subway: The 57th Street station on the F train is right at the intersection of 57th Street and Sixth Avenue. The 57th Street–7th Avenue station, served by the N, Q, R, and W trains, is also a short walk away.

By Subway from Columbus Circle: The 59th Street–Columbus Circle station serves the A, B, C, D, and 1 trains and is another convenient option.

By Car: Midtown traffic can be busy, so driving requires a little more planning. If you are visiting for dinner or an event, checking parking options before leaving can save time.

Quick Info for Visitors

Acadia’s official website currently lists breakfast Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, dinner Sunday through Monday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, plus weekend brunch from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

For the most current schedule, especially around holidays or special events, check the restaurant’s official location page before visiting.

Check the official Acadia hours and location page before your visit.

Summer Restaurant Week at Acadia NYC

If you are visiting during the current NYC Summer Restaurant Week period, Acadia is also offering a prix-fixe menu. The restaurant’s current menu page lists a $30 two-course lunch Monday through Friday and a $45 three-course dinner Sunday through Friday, with the promotion running through September 6, 2026.

Because Restaurant Week menus and dates are seasonal, confirm the offer on Acadia’s current menu page before making plans.

See the current Acadia menu and Summer Restaurant Week details.

Reservations: Should You Book Ahead?

For evening dining, weekend brunch, or a special occasion, I would recommend reserving ahead rather than simply walking in and hoping for a table. Acadia accepts reservations through its website, and OpenTable also lists the restaurant for bookings.

You can make a reservation through Acadia’s official website or OpenTable.

Final Thoughts on Acadia NYC

After spending time at Acadia and taking my own photos, I can see why the restaurant works for so many different kinds of Midtown visits. It has the energy of a busy New York restaurant, but the Mediterranean-inspired design gives it a warmer and more relaxed personality.

For me, the combination of location, atmosphere, and a menu built around Levantine and Mediterranean flavors is what makes Acadia NYC worth adding to a Midtown itinerary. Whether you are heading to a show, meeting friends for brunch, or looking for a lively dinner near Central Park, it is a convenient place to slow down for a meal.
